Votes are only counted on this website. When voting goes live, you will be able to vote for who you think should be made a finalist.
Nominees must identify as black or mixed black. For benefit of doubt, we classify “Black” as anyone who is African, Caribbean, a descendant of an African/Caribbean person and all African/Caribbean diaspora.
Nominees for The Ally award must not identify as black.

Allies play an important role in advancing the cause of Black-owned businesses. The award recognises non-Black individuals who have shown exceptional support for Black-owned businesses and have contributed to the advancement of Black economic empowerment. The award serves to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and to encourage individuals of all backgrounds to support Black-owned businesses.
